Alyson Steffens has been speech language pathology assistant (SLPA) at Foundations Developmental House since 2009. She studied communicative disorders at the University of Redlands and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Arizona State University. She brings experience and leadership to the FDH team. Alyson has been a Certified Speech-EZ® Apraxia Program Provider since 2010. She is a trained facilitator in The Motor Cognition² (MC²®) Program, The Logic of English®, as well as Lindamood-Bell® methods. Alyson has been providing both school-based and clinical speech-language services to children with a variety of speech-language impairments and learning disabilities since 2008. She is passionate about helping children succeed in school and life. When not working with children, Alyson enjoys playing sports, cheering on local sports teams and caring for pets.
